Insecurity can change your life multiple ways. Insecurity will make you feel sad or like you can’t be yourself, it could also make you feel better after you get over it. Here are some do’s and don’ts on insecurity.
Don't compare yourself to others. Comparing yourself to others will make your insecurity get worse.
Don't say,” I'm gonna be great!” if you psych yourself up then you will end up thinking its a lie and you will now say, “I'm gonna be horrible. I look horrible.
Don't be scared to talk to others about your insecurity. A Lot of people probably tell you to tell an adult about it, but do it. It is probably hard to.
Do recognize your positives, for example: you have parents that love you or you have great friends. If you don't have those then you just find a good positive thing to talk about.
Do remind yourself you are great at multiple things. You could be good at a vid-eo game you like or reading books.
Do remember you are unique. We copy people a lot and we don't realize we are unique.
Remember no one is perfect. No one is the perfect person that is kind all the time. If you remember a memory of you doing something bad say “no one is perfect.”
